Mirror Lake Golf Club – Mountain Course
Mirror Lake is a Rocky Roquemore and Jeff Burton creation that opened in 1999. Mirror Lake is a 36-hole golf club featuring the Lake Course and the Mountain Course. Mirror Lake features a double-sided driving range with both mat and grass hitting areas, targets, and premium range balls, as well as a short game practice area. The Mountain Course is much hillier than the Lake Course. Golfers will be treated to many downhill tee-shots and a few memorable uphill challenges as well. Mirror Lake does come into play four holes, most notably on holes nine and eighteen. Both are long narrow par fours, with the lake down the left side from tee to green, and on 18 there is a forced carry of about 100 yards into the green. Considered by most to be the more challenging of the two courses, especially the front nine that has some very narrow fairways, and some of the most undulating greens.Back nine is a lot more forgiving off of the tee, but plays long with several uphill shots into the greens.
